Himachal Pradesh continued to experience hot weather this year also

Himachal Pradesh continued to experience hot weather on Friday with the venue of the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches - Dharamsala - recording a high of 35.2 degrees Celsius, seven notches above average.

"Temperatures across the state increased due to the prolonged dry spell. The maximum temperature remained above average by five to nine degrees," Manmohan Singh, director of the meteorological office here, said.
